Horizontal Antennas
Yagi antennas are a popular choice among ham radio operators due to the ability to direct a signal when transmitting and to reject a signal when receiving. Yagi’s also provide gain – the more elements, the more gain achieved. A Yagi antenna is generally fixed mounted on a mast or antenna tower. Dipoles are single element antennas, and are great for portable operations, stealth installations or as a starting point for new operators.
