SteppIR has improved the sprocket shaft assembly to now use a white Acetal (Delrin) instead of the original material and has modified the injection molding process to increase the strength of the part. These modifications to the sprocket shaft has increased the strength of the part by 53% over the original design. While the previous material and manufacturing process was more than strong enough for our EHU’s, we decided to go one step further and re-designed this part. SteppIR has always thrived to be the best performing and most reliable antennas on the market and this improvement is one of many that we have implemented to push the product further in that direction.
