Description
Attaches to base of the BigIR vertical, expanding coverage to the 80m/60m bands. Power limit of 1.5kW for 80m/60m, 3kW on 40-6m.
Additional 4 conductor cable required when adding this option. Requires updated mounting post and high wind kit with plastic saddles and fiberglass plate to prevent arcing!
Newly designed PCB that was improved for high voltage by increasing air gaps and increasing radius’s of RF traces and pads. (12/22/22)
It is highly recommended to use the new Acetal (Delrin) mounting post and new high wind kit with plastic saddle clamps and fiberglass plate if using a loading coil to reduce possibility of arcing from high power.
