Description
1.50” Acetal Rod, 24” length; Use for mounting BigIR, SmallIR, and StealthIR verticals; Insertion end of mounting post is turned down to 1.49”.
This mounting post is now made of Acetal (Delrin) instead of aluminum in order to help prevent arcing from occurring when using loading coils near there maximum power output. It is highly recommended to use this part if using a loading coil along with the new high wind kit with plastic saddle clamps and fiberglass plate (this also reduces possibility of arcing from high power).
This is a replacement/upgrade part, It is provided with all new SmallIR/BigIR/StealthIR purchases by default.
